I’ve begun a very exciting new project, a new short film. Now I know it’s easy enough to throw a couple of scenes together and make something that kind of goes, but that’s not what I want to do, I want to make a professional short film, where young (ages may vary :D) professionals can show off and improve their skills and talents, and hopefully create a well-made, short film, which can go to festivals. The plan is to raise money using http://www.fundit.ie, and film it in probably two days on this beautiful location.
The story revolves around two sisters who after losing their last remaining parent, their father, try to cope in different ways. It takes place after the funeral (thus the working name After). Leann escapes into books whereas Sandra takes a more practical approach. What will happen when Sandra tries to bring Leann back to the real world?
Over the next while I’ll be looking for an entire Cast and Crew. It will be a great opportunity to be involved in a professional production with other young professional, with fresh ideas. The director position is open as of yet, as well as camera operator, sound etc. I’m looking for people who are passionate about film and are willing to put their all into the film. These are all paid positions. If interested contact me at Helenareilly@gmail.com.
We will also be looking for two other actors soon, one male 50 – 65, and one female 20 -30 very soon.
